Speaking to Times of India, Ravichandran has said, "While the camera mainly captures the story that is unfolding inside the lift, there is another story unfolding outside the lift at the same time that is conveyed only through sound.
And to ensure that the narration of the other story is as strong its counterpart inside, we needed a good voice, and who better to have onboard for that than Sudeep? His bass voice is well-suited to the film and he agreed to be a part of it without asking any questions about it."
The movie will also have Sudeep playing a cameo and voices of Ravi Shankar and Prakash Raj.
"Sudeep and Ravi Shankar also appear in cameos in the film, but not Prakash. It is only Prakash's voice that makes up a crucial part of the story," the Love You Alia actor has said.
